Tampico jumped on top of Lewisville in the bottom of the 4th inning when they scored 3 runs on 3 hits. Lewisville was out-hit by Tampico, 12 hits to 7. The winning pitcher was Ben Sheets(15-11) who allowed 2 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Russ Ortiz(10-14) was charged with the loss. He allowed 9 hits and 5 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings. 'Ahhh, that victory was surely needed. Man alive, things were getting awfully grim,' noted Mike Aldrich. 'Now, we need to string a bunch of wins together and turn things around!'
